Being from Hawaii myself, it’s no surprise that over the years, we’ve featured Hawaii-based and inspired artisan beauty. Hawaii is a special place on this planet, a healing place. Over the past months, I’ve enjoyed getting to know Leah Klasovsky, a licensed esthetician who moved to Kauai from the mainland when she was 21 and never left. Like many Founders, Leah began making products for her clients, and as demand grew, so did her offering, which organically grew into the company it is today, Leahlani Skincare, that serves up holistic accessible luxury beauty from a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific.
Leah is meticulous with sourcing ingredients, getting many of them from the Hawaiian Islands with support from other sources. Her spirulina from the Big Island is the purest, and she sources three different kinds of honey from small producers on the islands. The quality of the honey in her products is what I love the most about Leahlani Skincare. Leah and I both have a deep appreciation and passion for honey as a skincare ingredient in common which we quickly connected on. Honey is loaded with natural exfoliating acids, vitamin B, iron, potassium, and calcium that are beneficial for every skin type – even sensitive. On its own, honey is incredibly beneficial for skin, but in her honey-based products Meli Glow, Honey Love, and Mermaid Mask, it’s just that much better.

Cleanse
Cleanse skin Pamplemousse Tropical Enzyme Cleansing Oil, a brightening oil cleanser featuring pineapple and papaya enzymes to gently exfoliate and illuminate fresh, glowing skin. Massage oil into face and neck to lift away impurities, then rinse away to reveal residue-free, squeaky clean skin.
Exfoliate
